Meng Wang received her BA in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language in Suzhou and her MA in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language in Hong Kong. Before coming to NYU Shanghai, she taught Chinese as a teaching fellow for one year at Vassar College and two years at Hamilton College. She was also a Chinese teacher with the CET Academic Program and with the Princeton in Beijing program. She is familiar with the teaching pedagogy developed by the college-level Chinese Programs in North-America. Aside from teaching methodology and second language acquisition, she is also interested in Chinese Contemporary Literature and Cognitive Science.
