Associate Dean of Graduate and Advanced Education; Adjunct Instructor of TESOL
Eric Mao is Associate Dean of Graduate and Advanced Education at NYU Shanghai, where he directs all initiatives of the Office of Graduate and Advanced Education and oversees all NYU Shanghai graduate programming, including master's, professional, doctoral degrees, and related non-degree programs. As Adjunct Instructor of TESOL, he teaches in NYU Shanghai's TESOL master's program, jointly offered with the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
Previously, he was Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs and Lecturer of Law at the Peking University School of Transnational Law, where he oversaw all curricular matters and taught courses in legal research, writing, and contract drafting. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
