Assistant Dean for Curriculum; Clinical Associate Professor, Writing Program

Amy Becker is the Assistant Dean for Curriculum and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Writing Program at NYU Shanghai. As Assistant Dean for Curriculum, Amy oversees the development and implementation of courses, the core curriculum, and assessment for Middle States accreditation. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, she was a lecturer in the NYU Expository Writing Program and a Critical Thinking and Writing instructor for NYU Abu Dhabi's Summer Academy. In addition to her work in New York City and Abu Dhabi, she has led workshops in journalism at the NYU Ghana academic center and on behalf of NYU in Russia. She holds an EdD from New York University.
